Liquid Light

So I have finally figured out how to get the tintype developer to work! but it is the most temperamental thing ever, and i am not sure if I want to risk my project in order to use it.
I do like however the dark red/orange on black that I get with using the normal developer.
And on a side note I think for my installation pieces I will be doing a framed image with a floating object being an extenuation of the photograph!

Long Format

For the sculptural project I will photograph a set of boxes and place them in a 4 to 1 ratio image. the objects will be on appeasing sides and this will force the viewer to look from one to another. there will be a grounding line to let the eye flow more easily and the will create some sort of connection which the viewer will ( in theory) try and figure out.

BOOM

Im having trouble trying to come up with a way of making exposures using fireworks. the flash is to bright!!!! Im going for something like Jerry Spagnoli's deguerreotypes. But i am also trying to play up the "aged" paper I am using.... We will see what iu get.. --> examples of Jerry Spagnoli's work.

Pin Hole

I was looking around for something to shoot and because I has to shoot out side, Monuments came to mind.

These were done in the 50's and 60's to promote socialist monuments commissioned by former Yugoslavian president Josip Broz Tito
The Photographers involved in photographing th
em chose to get up close and shoot at an upward angle, making the monuments "larger then life"
I like that aspect of the photograph and will try and recreate it in a pinhole format.
Because my pin hole camera is a wide angle (shallow box depth) and the paper inside is curved, the image will be really fish eye'ed and I'm hoping will create a dramatic effect to the monuments.
Also the image below by Scott Speck, is a pin hole photograph that I would LOVE to recreate and make. If i had time i would like to photograph architecture but I feel I can not drive to a location and take one image, then drive back to develop, only to find out I have to drive back for a second shot.
